Leonardo DiCaprio will present his pal and collaborator Martin Scorsese the inaugural Robert Osborne Award for his contributions in protecting traditional movie related.
Turner Classic Movies says Tuesday that DiCaprio will present the award on the opening night time of the TCM Classic Film Festival on April 26 in Hollywood at the TCL Chinese Theater.
DiCaprio has starred in 5 of Scorsese’s movies beginning with “Gangs of New York” in 2002. Their different collaborations embrace “The Departed,” ”The Aviator,” ”Shutter Island” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
The TCM Classic Film Festival is now in its ninth year. The occasion kicks off with the Robert Osborne Award presentation adopted by a particular screening of “The Producers,” which Mel Brooks shall be readily available to introduce.
